My name is Mia Massey, and a fact about me is that I am the third child. The little-known fact is that my older brother and sister are twins. When you grow up in a household that demands attention on the top 2, you learn to stick out… Whether it be sarcastic remarks, curses, or what my parents call my “Mia zingers.” These were just snarky comebacks to things my mom said or situational commentary on family matters. I have always used language to make my point known. Therefore, now I'm a copywriter in my career, yet I really always have been.
Language is the most powerful tool; it can communicate as well as rip apart. It is the backbone of everything. I've done theater my whole life, as well as acting and improv. Whether I'm delivering lines or manifesting my own, the punch that any line delivers is a great tool that I wield powerfully. Situational humor being my favorite, I love slapping captions on scenes in real time. Now, I will use language to pair with any ad, shifting what got me grounded so many times into a career.
